Hi Gorgeous,

I am back on this blog after a long break and I have loads of products to review here. This one is about a product from The BODY SHOP that I purchased and it is the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash

About the Product:

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash is a cleansing, gel-based face wash with tea tree oil for acne prone skin suitable for everyday use. It helps prevent blemishes by removing excess oil without over-drying the skin. This face wash helps to remove impurities and gently cleanse to reduce blemishes, acne and provide clear, fresh skin.

Key Ingredients:

Community Trade organic tea tree oil comes from The Kenya Organic Oil Farmers’ Association (KOOFA), a co-operative of over 550 small-scale organic farmers around Mount Kenya National Park. Products contain only pure leaf essential oil, made with hand-harvested leaves and gently steam-distilled for an exceptional-quality purifying essential oil. The leaves are steam distilled within 12 hours of harvest, using a gentle heat to ensure a high quality tea tree oil. Tea Tree skincare range combats existing blemishes without adverse effect of overly stripping the skin's surface.

Aqua (Solvent/Diluent), Cocamidopropyl Betaine (Surfactant), Polysorbate 20 (Emulsifier), Coco-Glucoside (Surfactant), PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil (Emulsifier), Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil (Natural Additive), Glycerin (Humectant), Calophyllum Inoph.

How to Use?

Wet the face with lukewarm water. Massage onto the face and neck using your fingertips. Rinse off with clean cold water and pat skin dry.

Packaging:

I purchased the 250ml (8.4 US FL. OZ) the biggest bottle I assume; it's not travel friendly but still the packaging is great. The bottle has never leaked. I usually take 1-2 drops on my palm and lather to make bubbles to wash my face.

Price and Quantity:

This facial cleanser is on a pricey side. Every time I have to take 1-2 drops of it I make sure I lather it properly on my palm & massage gently on my face. It's so refreshing & instant squeaky clean feeling. It comes in a 250 ml (8.4 US FL. OZ) bottle for PhP650.00.

My Experienced:

I have been using this product for quite some time now, at first I didn't notice anything special about this product until I've been bombarded by pimples & breakouts :( because of exploring for a more effective soaps (chemical damage) on my face. I was thinking of going to my derma again (soooo expensive) then I woke up one morning realizing I have this Facial Wash from The Body Shop that I kept & haven't consumed yet, gave it a chance & used it again as my Facial Wash and BOOOOM! after 3 days my pimples dried up & cleared the area as well :D I  was soooo happy & gay that finally I have unfolded its magic. I love the refreshing & cooling effect after every wash. It really does clears my face & blemishes.

Would I Repurchase & Recommend?

Yes

Verdict:

Price: 2/5
Quality: 4/5
Availability: 4/5
Effectivity: 4/5
Packaging: 3/5

That's it for now gorgeous :) Hope this review helps. See you on my next post:*

5 beauty resolutions for 2013

Hey its NEW YEAR!! And So I came across this topic! Resolutions never go past the first two or three months because some people just give up, or simply forget what they promised a few months before. I know some of us do this like Every year, we come up with a list of things we want to change about ourselves, especially during the start of a new year.

Perhaps a way to succeed is to make your goal SIMPLE, MEASURABLE, ACHIEVABLE, REALISTIC, & TIME-BOUNDED= SMART! This is perfect for us little " BEAUTY GURU's" in the making lol

1.Clean your make-up brushes - once in a while or in a schedule time :) or even after every use! Make sure you wash your brushes with a shampoo I used PALMOLIVE shampoo and just lay them flat under the SUN :)

2.Wash your make-up off every night- I promise myself not to sleep with a make-up on :)
promise yourself that you will never sleep with your make-up on. Not only will you look horrible the next morning, with panda eyes and streaky lipstick, it is also bad for your skin. I know right that's a perfect medium for the bacteria to grow & develop Break-outs, Zits , Blemishes and the worst is RED, BIG, DISGUSTING PIMPLES!

3. Retouch your roots- Even the ombre look (dark-to-light hair color) is carefully planned out so if you are going to color your hair a significantly lighter or darker shade, make sure you will have the time and resources for the upkeep.

4. Keep your nails neat- So make it your New Year's resolution to make sure you remove your polish at the first signs of chipping. Remember, non-polished nails that are cut and cleaned look better than chipped nails!

5. Be a Health conscious- Don't make losing weight your goal. Instead, tell yourself that you are taking care of your body and are building stamina and energy. Think of how good you will feel, and the weight loss is secondary, but will also be very visible if you stay consistent. But in my case gaining weight is my companion lol I need to gain a bit :)
